I sometimes wonder, am I a real writer?
Someone once told me you’re not real writer until you’ve had something published and see your name in print.
Others say you’re not really a writer until you have an agent and a traditional publishing contract.
Or at least when you actually get paid for something you’ve written.
I’ve had a couple of short stories published in an anthology and a few articles published online.
But I’ve come conclusion that if you write anything from blog posts, poetry, short stories, novels etc that you are a real writer.
You don’t have to get paid for it or have anything published as long as you write, you are a real writer!
What anyone else says doesn’t matter; it’s how you see yourself that’s important.
